ISymphony 3.x.x is configured, by default, in such a way that you can run an iSymphony 3.x.x instance along side an iSymphony 2.x.x installation. Before you startPlease check the following points:. In particular, ensure that a Sun/Oracle JRE is already installed on the server. See for more details. Have your iSymphony license key ready.
Determine the correct installation method to use for your environment. See for more information. If you are utilizing the FreePBX or Asterisk Now distros you may already have the module installed and ready to go.The iSymphony FreePBX module is provided in the FreePBX module repositories. You can follow the steps below to download and install the module form the repository. Login to your FreePBX GUI and navigate to Admin-Module Admin. Select Check Online in the top left hand corner of the page. Under the Admin section on the page you should see iSymphonyV3 available for download.
Install Flash Operator Panel Asterisk Phone Service
Click on the iSymphonyV3 item and select Download and Install. Select Process on the top right hand corner of the page and continue the installation. Select Apply Config at the top of the page. Asterisk will reload and the iSymphony module will populate the extensions and users. This may take some time as the iSymphony configuration is being built.The iSymphony server should now be running and configured.
